Phil Collins is offering up another preview of the upcoming expanded reissue of his debut album, Face Value.

The latest is an outtake of the track “Tomorrow Never Knows,” described as Collins’ “experimental cover" of The Beatles song, which appeared on their 1966 album Revolver. 

Face Value (Full Value), dropping Sept. 18, is a four-LP set that features a remastered version of the original album. It also comes with three LPs of bonus material, made up of rare and unreleased live recordings, demos and outtakes. It also includes a brand-new interview with Collins in the liner notes. Face Value will also be released on Blu-ray, featuring upgraded audio.

Face Value (Full Value) is available for preorder now.

Originally released in February 1981, Face Value was recorded while Collins' band Genesis was on a break. It became an instant hit for the rocker, topping the chart in the U.K. and peaking at #3 in the U.S.

The album’s leadoff single, “In the Air Tonight,” peaked at #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. It went on to be one of Collins’ signature songs, thanks in part to its iconic drum track.

The new release comes as Collins is set to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist in November. He was previously inducted as a member of Genesis in 2010.

Sheryl Crow's new album may be the perfect pick-me-up.

She'll release her 12th album, Pick You Up, on Oct. 9. It's now available to preorder. The first single, "Freedom Bus," features singer/songwriter Jesse Welles and is out now.

“I do not take freedom lightly because our freedom has been paid for in the lives of others throughout history and that is something I wish we could all remember when we are interacting with each other," Sheryl says of the new song.

"Our dialogue and ability to disagree must reflect what has been paid for in the blood, sweat, and tears of those who fought for every man and woman to be created equal and to enjoy the rights that our constitution has allowed each of us.”

In the song, she sings, "Whoever said freedom was free?/ There ain't no freedom without history/ and folks who died for you and me /So don't be an a******, let everyone be."

As for the album, she says the seven new songs are "a commentary on being human and wanting connection.” She adds, "My wish is that whoever hears these songs feels the hope I feel when I sing them! I hope these songs feel like a soothing moisturizer on our chapped hearts."

"We are all going through so much in our humanity right now that being awake can feel like trudging through a burning desert. But we are never alone. And there is beauty everywhere. We just have to keep our eyes open.”

As previously reported,  Sheryl will perform on Good Morning America on Aug. 28.

Backstreet Boys' latest single, "Bottle Up," is from the soundtrack of the new animated film PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, out in theaters today. Before they'd heard the song, the guys were already big fans of the franchise, thanks to their kids.

"I love all the individual characters. I love how each of them has like a specialty that they do," says AJ McLean, whose daughters grew up watching the show. "We've been to the live shows. ... [W]e've seen the the first two films multiple times. So, yes, we are a PAW Patrol house."

"It's been a part of my family's life since they were born, all my kids. Especially my son, I think when it first came out we were watching it, like from the first episode on," says Nick Carter. He adds, "The fact that we could just even be involved with this movie to any capacity is just so great."

Kevin Richardson notes that his younger son, Maxwell, "grew up" on PAW Patrol, saying the franchise is "a great example of teamwork." Howie Dorough's family members were such big fans, his son even dressed up as one of the characters on Halloween. 

The group received the song, which was co-written by Ed Sheeran, from their management via email. They all instantly agreed it was a great track they had to record.

"I mean, this is really a special moment that we get to be a part of something so amazing that our kids love," says AJ. "When I told them that daddy and their uncles are going to be doing a song for PAW Patrol, they were like, 'Whaaat??!" So it's still really cool, you know what I mean? Major, major cool points for dad."

After premiering at the Tribeca Festival in New York City a few months ago, the movie Sara Bareilles: Good Grief will arrive in theaters nationwide this fall.

The documentary, which follows Sara as she records her new album of the same name, will open in roughly 40 cities on Sept. 2. As previously reported, the film's executive producers include Pink, author Glennon Doyle and Olympian Abby Wambach. Tickets go on sale Aug 20; you can preregister on Sara's website.

Sara's first new album in seven years, Good Grief, due Aug. 28, reflects a period in her life during which two of her close friends passed away and she went through a difficult fertility journey. However, the movie is mostly about showing the power that music has to heal and bring people together.

On Instagram, she wrote, "The film is an intimate observation of the making of what has turned out to be my most vulnerable and personal project to date, and I’m so proud to share it. We made a film that feels like a sister piece to the album, something that makes the music richer and deeper."

She adds that fans who are coming to see her on her upcoming Good Grief tour should also see the movie because, she wrote, "I really believe that seeing this movie in a theater with friends, loved ones, and fellow fans will enrich your experience." And if you're not coming to the tour, she still believes that seeing it will make "the album come more alive for you."

"We held nothing back, and I’m so proud of the honesty, art, confessions, and connections that live inside this film," she concludes. "It has ultimately made me feel closer to my fans, my friends, and myself. I hope you will grab a friend and a small box of tissues and make a night of it on September 2nd!"

Travis told reporters on Wednesday that the couple's July 3 wedding was "the best night of my life."

In 2024, Charli XCX said that the character Nicole Kidman played in the movie To Die For helped inspire "the energy of Brat." But she was shocked to learn that Kidman is a fan, and showed up to one of her concerts. Speaking to British Vogue, Charli said via text, "She’s one of our last truly legendary movie stars. She came to my show in New York when I was on the Brat tour. I couldn’t believe she came. Like, the Nicole Kidman is at my show… what the f***?” Now the two are pals, says the magazine.

What's better than having a song that's been #1 for 17 weeks? Having an Oscar-winning actor sing that song. 

Wednesday night on The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Matthew McConaughey ended up playing and singing a bluegrass version of Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" as part of the show's ongoing Audience Suggestion Box segment.

During the segment, Fallon claimed that a viewer had suggested it would be a "dream come true" for her if he managed to combine "Choosin' Texas" with McConaughey's upcoming movie The Rivals of Amziah [am ZIE uh] King, in which he plays a bluegrass musician.

"This is The Tonight Show, where dreams become reality," Fallon announced, as the curtain opened to reveal McConaughey, playing the mandolin in a bluegrass band called The Last Bison. Fallon joined them, playing washboard.

Ella reposted a clip of the performance on her Instagram Story and captioned it, "I may never get over this." And on the original post, she commented, "Omg."

What made the moment even more special is that McConaughey is actually from Texas. He was born in Uvalde, raised in Longview and later attended UT-Austin. And speaking of Austin, that's where Ella is performing on Thursday night.

If you haven't gotten a ticket to see Ed Sheeran on the North American leg of his LOOP tour, you may want to reconsider because he's just revealed that he's not going to be doing another one "for a long time."

In his newsletter to fans, Ed says that he's been traveling on the road between dates, as opposed to flying, which is giving him the opportunity to really check out the U.S. and Canada. "Been seeing the national parks and doing big hikes, first time doing it," he said. "It’s weird, I’ve toured the states for the last 14 years of my career and I've never really seen the proper beauty of it. ... But the wildness of America and Canada is stunning. Very inspiring."

He also says that he's got "a few more" songs coming out "before the end of the year" that he wrote for other artists. He notes how pleased he is at the success of two such songs: "Dai Dai," the World Cup anthem by Shakira, and "Animal," by KATSEYE. "I find it keeps my mind ticking over and keeps my creative juices flowing to write songs for other people not in my acoustic lane," he says of his extra-curricular activities.

Finally, Ed says, "This is my last tour of the states for a long time, I’m gonna pump the brakes on touring once the Loop tour is done and be at home for a bit." And same thing for his plans to tour Europe in 2027. He writes,  "next year will be the last tour I’m on for a while."

"I'll still do the odd show I think but randomly and whenever it feels fun, but wanna dig into home life and write songs for a bit," he concludes.

Billy Joel broke multiple records with his historic 10-year residency at Madison Square Garden. But back when he was still an unknown, he declared in his first radio interview that the iconic New York City venue was "kind of a ripoff."

The new documentary film 1971: Billy Joel's Lost Interview will premiere at the Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame's Music Documentary Film Festival on Sept. 25. The 20-minute short contains audio from a 1971 radio interview Billy did with a student named Ed Mann for college radio station WCWP. At the time, Billy was an unknown who'd just released his debut album, Cold Spring Harbor.

In the trailer, Mann asks Billy if he'd eventually "like to get into the big places, Madison Square Garden or something like that." Billy replies, "No, I don't think I'd ever like to work Madison Square Garden. ... That place is kind of a ripoff, really."

When Mann asks why, Billy says, "Because what it is, in effect, is just jamming as many people and making as much money as you can out of a one-night thing. Unless you're up front or up close, it's just wasted. But  Madison Square Garden's just too big."

The twist of this film is that only the audio of the interview exists. Director Adam Ripp has used AI to visually recreate Billy, his manager Irwin Mazur and Mann for the film. Tom Needham, executive director of the festival, says in a statement, "This film demonstrates how technology, when used thoughtfully, can help us reconnect with important moments in music history."

“1971: Billy Joel’s Lost Interview allows audiences to see a young Billy Joel before worldwide fame changed his life, and we hope people will experience it with curiosity and an open mind," adds Needham.

Mann, who executive produced the film, will participate in a Q&A after the premiere, along with Ripp and Mazur.

When Sam Smith first came onto the scene, people were amazed at their angelic voice. But Sam says it's taken them a long time to realize that they're not actually a bad singer.

Speaking to The New Yorker Radio Hour, Sam says that when they first began singing, it was very "stressful,"  because, they said, "I've always been freaked out by my voice, it's like a freaky thing." 

"I don't feel the same way that people feel when they hear it. ... When I hear myself, I'm very critical," they explained. "I'm very hard on myself so when I come off stage, I think I've done a bad job. And people are like, 'That was the best you've ever sounded.' And I'm like, 'I'm so confused!'" 

Sam recalled recording themselves for the first time at age 13: They sang "When You Believe" by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. "

"I sang every single part by myself and ... I sat down and I heard myself sing and I burst into tears because I though it was the worst thing ever," they said. "And I was like, 'In my head, I sound so much better than that.'"

After that, they spent many years having what they call "dysphoria" with their voice and "trying to hear the goodness." 

Sam also said their new album, Hazel Eyes, which was inspired by his fiancé, Christian Cowper, was a "challenge."

"I was always very scared of falling in love ... especially after In the Lonely Hour doing so well and changing my life in so many ways. I was like, 'I better stay miserable,'" they explained. "But I knew that when it was time and I was truly in love and I could really pull from that place, that I didn't want to be scared of that."

Ariana Grande has seemingly gone Instagram Official with Ricky Alvarez, the former boyfriend with whom she's recently reunited. In a photo dump posted on Wednesday, there's a photo of Ari standing next to a man who has his arm around her. The pic cuts off both of their heads, but Ricky is tagged in it. There's also a picture of the two of them that is blurry and upside down; he's also tagged in that one. Ari and Ricky previously dated from 2015 to 2016, and she sang about him in her song "thank u, next."

The age-old problem of wanting to see two acts at the same time at a festival won't be an issue at Olivia Rodrigo's upcoming Daisy Chain Fields event. The schedule for the Aug. 29 event has been released and none of the sets overlap. Olivia is set to perform from 8:40 p.m. local time to 10 p.m. As previously reported, one of the festival's special guests is Sarah McLachlan, who pioneered the all-female festival concept in the '90s with Lilith Fair.

Pitbull has announced a new album called — wait for it — Pitcoin. It arrives Oct. 8, and you can presave it now. He's currently on his I'm Back world tour, which wraps up Sept. 26 in Minnesota.

BTS' world tour seems to be taking its toll. According to the Yonhap News Agency, BTS member V revealed during a Weverse livestream that the hearing in his right ear has deteriorated over the past 2 1/2 years to just 30%. He's currently taking medication and receiving treatment for it. Meanwhile, his bandmate Jungkook has injured his shin, which he said is "on the verge of a stress fracture."

Fleetwood Mac’s Greatest Hits compilation has reached new heights on the Billboard charts, nearly 40 years after its initial release.

The album was originally released in 1988. It landed at #10 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart this week, thanks to an expanded reissue of the album featuring additional tracks. The new chart position marks a new peak for the album, which reached #13 on that chart in 2016.

The album also reached a new peak on the all-genre Billboard 200, where it jumped from #69 to #13 this week. The compilation’s previous peak on the Billboard 200 was #14 in 1989. The album has also peaked at #5 on the Vinyl Albums chart, up from its 2019 peak of #7, and lands at #4 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums and #3 on the Top Rock Albums charts.

Greatest Hits covered the band’s catalog from the mid-'70s to the late '80s, specifically songs released after Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined the band. The newly released expanded edition added classic tunes like “The Chain,” “Landslide,” “Silver Springs (Live)” and “You Make Loving Fun," among others.

Sheryl Crow is a modern-day troubadour.

At least, that's according to the performing rights organization BMI, which will give the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer its Troubadour Award on Sept. 14. The award recognizes a songwriter who "has made a profound impact within the American music landscape and whose work continues to set the pace for generations to follow," according to a release.

The event will feature performances and tributes saluting Sheryl's career: She's sold more than 50 million albums globally and has won nine Grammy Awards, just to name a few of her accomplishments. According to BMI, her hits "Change Would Do You Good," "Everyday is a Winding Road" and "My Favorite Mistake" have each been broadcast more than 1 million times on both U.S. radio and on TV.

In other Sheryl Crow news, she'll perform on ABC's Good Morning America Summer Concert Series on Aug. 28. Plus, she'll be singing the national anthem Sept. 3 at the season opener for the University of Missouri football team at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri. Sheryl is a Mizzou graduate.

Imagine you're taking wedding photos by a river when Shaboozey floats by.

That's what happened to a California couple taking photos on their big day in Mammoth Lakes, California.

In a video shared on Monday by Southern California wedding planner K. Rose Events, a couple -- who have chosen to stay anonymous -- was taking photos when they were interrupted by the "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" singer as he floated on a tube behind them.

Shaboozey was accompanied by a group of other bystanders on floaties, drifting behind him.

"POV: you're getting married on the Owens River in Mammoth… and SHABOOZEY floats by," the caption for the video began. "Not a styled shoot. Not a setup. This actually happened."

The caption continued, "Mid-ceremony in Mammoth Lakes, CA — vows under the Sierra peaks, granite + sage as far as you can see — and Shaboozey makes a cameo coming down the river. The bride’s face says it all. The groom couldn’t stop laughing. Even I lost it for a second."

According to Shaboozey, who commented on the post, he was participating in The Woolly Run, a trip for those who enjoy motorsports and the outdoors. According to its website, his group spent a night camping in the Alabama Hills located in the Sierra Nevada mountains, and spent three nights at a campsite along the Owens River in Mammoth.

Shaboozey commented on the post, "CONGRATULATIONS! From Shabozzey and @thewoollyrun!!"

Woolly Run also commented, "We know how to crash a wedding."

Shaboozey recently released his new album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales, on July 31. It features Jamie Foxx, Gunna, Leon Bridges, Teyana Taylor, Kehlani, Orville Peck and Sam Elliott.

We've already heard from guests at Taylor Swift's wedding to Travis Kelce how amazing the event at New York's Madison Square Garden was. But now we've heard from the groom himself.

While at training camp on Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end took questions from reporters about how he'd spent his downtime. "It was a fun off-season, man. The wedding was the best night of my life. I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated, and you know, had fun with us. It was a crazy night; it was a lot of celebration."

Travis also commented on the fact that he and Taylor got married in the legendary venue, noting that he'd always wanted to attend a game there.

"MSG, man. You know, I always told myself I'd go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking, but my wife went when I was stuck in a training minicamp, so I didn't get my opportunity to go then," he told reporters, referring to Taylor as his "wife" publicly for the first time.

"So, it's kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue and, you know, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there, I can't thank the owners of MSG for allowing us the opportunity to do that," he continued.

"Knowing we wanted a private event and everything, so it was perfect," Travis said. 

Adam Sandler officiated Taylor and Travis' wedding in front of some 1,000 guests, including celebrities from the world of TV, film, music and sports. Performers reportedly included Taylor and Travis themselves, plus Paul McCartney, Avril Lavigne, Tate McRae and Stevie Nicks.

Jonas Brothers are heading to the land Down Under.

The trio will perform during the halftime show of a game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angels Rams that's scheduled to take place Sept. 11 in Melbourne, Australia. Due to the time difference in Australia, the game will stream live on Netflix on Sept. 10 at 8:35 p.m. ET.

“We couldn’t be more excited to perform at halftime during the NFL’s first-ever regular season game in Australia,” said the group in a statement. “Playing at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground in front of such passionate Australian fans is an incredible honor."

The JoBros performance is the first of seven halftime shows that will take place across the NFL's international games in 2026, with more artists to be announced in the coming weeks. These games will take place across seven countries and four continents.

The band is set to play New York's Madison Square Garden on Aug. 20, 21 and 22.

What has Janet Jackson done for us lately? Well, she's just scheduled a special performance that will be filmed and released to celebrate the 40th anniversary of her breakthrough album, Control.

Janet Jackson: Control 40 -- The Airtab Music Movie will be filmed Dec. 12 at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. The film will include behind-the-scenes footage, creating what's described in a press release as "the definitive filmed document of one of music's most celebrated performers."

Rather than simply focusing on the Control album, however, the concert will encompass Janet's entire catalog, from "Nasty" to "All for You" and every smash hit in between. The movie is planned to have a global release, followed by a release on streaming.

Control, released in 1986, was Janet's third album. It marked the moment when she took the reins of her career artistically, working with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis to develop a unique sound that blended R&B, rap, funk, disco and electronic elements. 

The album was hugely influential and spun off the hits "What Have You Done for Me Lately," "Nasty," "When I Think of You," "Let's Wait Awhile" and the title track. All five of those songs peaked in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100, making Janet the first female artist score five top-10s from a single album. It's sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.

Sir Rod Stewart is on the mend after undergoing a routine heart procedure.

A statement shared Tuesday on his official Instagram account said he has "successfully undergone a routine coronary stent procedure," adding that he's canceling several dates on his current tour to recuperate.

"Doctors are pleased with his recovery, and Rod is doing very well and has returned to his normal daily activities," the statement said. "On the advice of his doctors, he will take the next four weeks to recuperate and regain full fitness before returning to the stage."

The statement continued, "Unfortunately, this means he will be unable to continue his current tour dates."

The statement ended by saying that information about the affected performances will be shared by promoters and venues.

Rod later gave fans an update on his health in a message on his Instagram Story.

"I'm already feeling better and very much on the mend," he wrote. "I want to thank the doctors, nurses and everyone who has taken such wonderful care of me."

"I'm deeply disappointed to miss these shows and sorry to let my fans down, but I look forward to getting back on stage and having a good time with you all again," he added.

According to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, a stent is a small mesh tube used to widen and hold open passages in the body. It is most often used to treat narrowing of the coronary arteries, which "provide the heart with oxygen-rich blood."

The NHLBI adds that the most common type of stents are used in the coronary arteries. Doctors may recommend a stent to support a narrow or weak artery or airway.

Following a stent procedure, patients may resume normal physical activity when doctors give the green light. Doctors will require patients to take medicine.

Stewart was currently on his One Last Time Tour, which was slated to wrap in Kansas City, Missouri, on Aug. 15.

He was also slated to perform several shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, starting on Aug. 18, and had 2026 dates booked through Sept. 13.

The Billboard Hot 100 is like the aisle at a wedding this week, because tracks from petal are strewn all over it.

This marks the first time that Ariana Grande has charted all the songs from a single album in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. All 12 tracks make their debuts, from "hate that i made you love me" at #2 all the way down to "nowhere, nobody" at #39. 

With these songs, Ariana has now scored 110 entries on the Hot 100 over her career. Only three other female artists have managed to amass that many: Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé. Of those 110 songs, 10 of them have hit #1.

As previously reported, the album also debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, making it Ariana's seventh to do so.

There's also a new line of merch for petal on Ariana's website, including a tee featuring a still from the "petal" video, showing her smiling while covered in blood. Underneath it, it says "live laugh love."

Noah Kahan is getting back on course — the golf course.

He's scheduled his second annual Folk & Fairways Benefit Concert & Golf Tournament to benefit his Busyhead Project charity, which works to make mental healthcare more accessible for all. The event will take place Sept. 14 and 15 in Stowe, Vermont, so about a month before stick season starts.

The event will feature an acoustic performance by Noah, plus the tournament and "a thoughtfully curated collection of unforgettable experiences," according to a press release.

A limited number of tickets will be available via a lottery, which you can register for now via Seated.com. Random selection will begin Aug. 17. Friends & Group Lodging + Ticket Packages are also available at folkandfairways.org.

Last year's event raised over $1 million for The Busyhead Project. Since Noah launched it in 2023, fundraising efforts have brought in nearly $7 million to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, and expand community-based resources and care.

Just a few months after she was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Taylor Swift will receive the same honor from the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame aka NaSHOF.

She's one of five inductees in the Class of 2026, who will be ushered into the hall this fall. She's being inducted in the contemporary songwriter/artist category and will be the hall's youngest inductee ever. She was also the youngest inductee into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Taylor will be joining previous inductees like Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, Keith Urban, Garth Brooks, Jimmy Buffett, Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash.

When the news was announced during a livestream on Tuesday, Mark Ford, the executive director of the hall, read a statement from Taylor. 

"From the time I started writing songs as a child, I fixated on Nashville as the perfect place to be,” Taylor's statement said. "I wanted to learn with and from the best and get to immerse myself in a community of storytellers, and thankfully Nashville turned out to be exactly what I’d dreamed of."

Taylor's statement went on to describe Nashville as "a town that validated and prioritized hard work, determination and imagination. Where the writers show up to work every day even when the mysterious muses and the magic don’t."

The statement concluded, "To be honored by this city I love so much is a beautiful thing, and I’m very grateful.”

This year's other inductees are Shawn Camp, who's written hits for Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, George Strait and Brooks & Dunn; Lee Thomas Miller, who's written hits for Brad Paisley, Chris Stapleton, Scotty McCreery and Tim McGraw; Bruce Channel, best known for his own hit "Hey! Baby!"; and Lyle Lovett, who's being inducted in the veteran songwriter/artist category.
