Got out of town this past weekend. Went over to Mystic, Connecticut – great area!
Had fun restaurant hopping to get out of all the rain on Saturday. Had a nice lunch at The Engine Room, a glass of wine over at S&P Oyster House. Chowder over at The Sea Shack. Just tried to keep it all in perspective, and order lite bites, and remember all the tips I have learned from Kathy.
Plus, I was walking everywhere, shopping on Main street, strolling along the river, shuffling around the aquarium. I do enjoy being able to have a meal and walk afterward.
I notice that I don’t eat to the point of being stuffed anymore. Ya know what I mean? I don’t over eat.
I have portion issues and would gladly over eat my favorite things! Now, I am learning what I need, not what I want. I don’t feel deprived, I don’t feel I over indulged, I don’t have to loosen the belt, uncomfortable while I am digesting my food, and needing a nap!
The trick is to be mindful when eating. She has past on some great tips on how to enjoy a day/evening out, and not slow down your progress. It doesn't’t mean your only option is a salad either!
Kathy and I have worked together to get to this first milestone of 10lbs lighter, and I am anxious to lose the next 10.
I look forward to introducing you to Kathy this week.
